Leuchtturm was established in 1917 and moved to Hamburg in 1948. It’s currently run by the fourth generation. Their early success was based in producing paper for postage stamps and coin albums. Now their brand is known for consistent paper with superb detailing. The durable covers make them perfect for keeping sketches flat and secure while in a bag or traveling. The paper takes graphite, ink and color remarkably well, without bleed through.
